My vote for Winner: "A Sister's Present"
My Comments:
The New Leader : ...Sugoi! What else can you say? The art is spectacular and detailed, I wish I was that talented. But, is this part of a series? I was just wondering, because the story itself doesn't seem to make much sense, it looks like it was made to go with something else. VERY cool!
Untitled: The story line, the character development, the intricate sub-plots! Beautiful work! *Tee Hee* Just kidding. Nice picture, though!
A Sister's Present: I thought this one was really cute! I liked how even though there was no dialogue, you could tell what was going on, and you could sense the close relationship between the siblings. The little sister is just _so_ sweet, willing to do all that for her brother! And, the ending was cute too. Also, the colouring was really well done. Bravo! Good story, REALLY good story!
Courtly Love: The art is simple, the colour is well used, and the dialogue is straightforward and in no way resembles cornbread. As such, I think this manga's one of the better "lovey-dovey" ones! However, as I haven't read much of the older episodes, I'm a little lost in the plot. Keep it up, this is gold!
Dolly III: This one really had a "manga" feel to it! The screen tones were applied in a very dramatic way, and the art itself was very clean and flowing. I can't really comment on the plot, again because I haven't seen any of the other entries. But, from what I can see here, it's really good too!
Seven Ages: I love this one! The dialogue's a little confusing (is that a song, or a poem your wrote or something? It's interesting.), but the art explains the story well. The ending's kinda depressing, but I understand why. Please continue drawing boy's love! You do it sooo well! (I also like how all other characters were shaded black besides the main one, very dramatic!) Well, that's all. Hope this is what I was supposed to do... Please enjoy sir! -Sincerely yours, Renny Buton
